25 Sep, 2020 – Everything about this wine is on point. The intense red and dark cherries are served in bold style with a flurry of foresty complexity, too. The tannins are cut with conviction. The only thing separating this and many other pinots, of more than twice the price, is a layer of spicy new oak and, frankly, it’s just not required. This is all about the fruit. Top value. 18 May, 2019 – This has a very attractively brambly edge with impressively fresh dark cherries and red plums and gently spicy and astutely handled oak influence. The palate has purity and detail with a sense of elegance and focus. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
